Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
HAART seeks to improve our community through health and wellness education, and the provision of comprehensive quality services.
HAART is one of the largest providers of HIV services in the state of Louisiana. We assist those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and collaborate with other organizations to erase stigma and educate the community about the disease.

We help people affected by HIV/AIDS through a complete continuum of care. Our housing programs provide additional services like mental health counseling and case management, so families can maintain a stable home.

We also assist those infected with HIV in accessing healthcare. Our medical case managers navigate clients through the health care system helping schedule doctor and dental appointments and to ensure treatment adherence and a positive health outcome. We also manage a health insurance program that gives HIV+ persons the financial ability to access healthcare.

HAART’s prevention department works diligently with other local community organizations to spread the message about HIV/AIDS in Baton Rouge in an effort to erase stigma, educate citizens on HIV transmission and healthy sexual habits and to perform HIV testing.
